PROCESSED PEAR COMMITTEE

WASHINGTON / OREGON POSITION NOMINATIONS

            Nominations for positions on the Washington/Oregon Processed Pear Committee will take place during an industry public meeting as follows:

            April. 23, 2026 – Pacific Northwest Canning Pear Service Annual Meeting, W.L. Hansen Building, Yakima, WA. –

Washington Handler #1 First Alternate position currently held by First Alternate Vacant

Washington Handler #2 positions currently held by Member Vacant and First Alternate Vacant

Washington/Oregon Processor #1 positions currently held by Member Steve Carlson and First Alternate Vacant.

Washington/Oregon Processor #3 positions currently held by Member Andy Russick and First Alternate Richard “Rich” Baldoz

            Positions on the Processed Pear Committee are each 2-year terms beginning July 1, 2026, and expiring June 30, 2028. Washington Handler #2 position is a partial term, expiring June 30, 2027

            The Processed Pear Committee was established to administer federal marketing order provisions relating to the handling of pears for processing.
