Program Background

The Washington State Fruit Commission (WSFC) strives to maximize vendor diversity, and the quality of the services provided to our Agency. All individuals, businesses and community-based organizations are encouraged to compete for business with the Commission. It is the responsibility of prospective bidders to monitor WEBS for newly released documents and updates.

WSFC encourages the participation of micro, mini, or small business Enterprises, as self- identified through WEBS registration or other related certification.

Minority and Women’s Business Enterprises (OMWBE) Participation and Certification

WSFC encourages the participation of Minority and Women’s Business Enterprises either self-identified or certified by the Office of Minority & Women’s Business Enterprises (OMWBE). For more information on certification, contact OMWBE.

Veteran and Service Member Owned Business Participation and Certification

WSFC encourages the participation of Veteran and Service Member Owned Business certified by the Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA). For more information on certification, contact DVA.

Washington Electronic Business Solutions (WEBS) Registration

WSFC is required to post all competitive business opportunities through the Washington Electronic Business Solutions (WEBS) system. We encourage all businesses to register on WEBS.
